CBS Outdoor’s European, China Assets Sold for $225m

Los Angeles/New York  – Platinum Equity and CBS Corp. announced July 16 that an affiliate of Platinum Equity made an irrevocable binding offer to acquire the assets of CBS Outdoor (CBSO) International.  The proposed transaction represents a total value of approximately $225 million and is subject to completion of works council consultation and other conditions.

The move comes as CBS seeks to spin off the rest of its CBS Outdoor subsidiary into a separate real-estate investment trust (REIT) publicly held property...
