Greene Takes Large-Format Expertise to IDC

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.International Data Corporation (IDC) hires Tim Greene as a research director to lead the firm’s large-format printer research, and to contribute to digital signage and 3D printing research.

Greene joins IDC’s U.S.-based imaging, printing, and document solutions research team.

Tim GreeneGreene comes to IDC with more than 15 years experience in market research, including his recent work as director of InfoTrends’ Wide Format Printing Consulting Service. In this role, he produced a substantive body of research including annual market forecasts and manufacturer market shares; end-user primary research studies; and numerous custom consulting deliverables covering global markets.

Prior to that, he was a technology industry analyst and conducted research on topics ranging from Internet technology forecasting to price tracking.
