Caron New President at COMB

TORONTO — Rosanne Caron will be the new president of the Canadian Out-of-Home Measurement Bureau (COMB) as of Jan 1.

Caron will succeed, who’s retiring from her media career at the end of this year. She’s has held the position since 2009.

COMBCaron will also continue as president of the Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada (OMAC), a position she’s held since 2005.

Philport Retiring as TAB Chief at Year’s End

NEW YORK – Joe Philport, chief of the OOH-measurement Traffic Audit Bureau (TAB) for the past 12 years, will retire at the end of 2014.

Joe PhilportThe traffic ratings group also announced today that it will review the changing needs of the OOH industry in a variety of areas, including metrics and TAB leadership.

Nancy Fletcher, president/CEO of the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, will also be interim TAB CEO after Philport’s retirement.

Philport, who joined TAB as CEO in 2002, led TAB as it developed its Out of Home Ratings system, which offers accountability and more accurate measurement of audiences actually viewing OOH advertising.

Titan Hires Kittridge To Head Digital Growth

NEW YORK – Margit Kittridge, formerly with The Wall Street Journal Office Network, is the new Vice President, Head of Digital for Titan.

In the position – a first for Titan – Kittridge will be tasked with overseeing the ad firm’s digital network as well as leading its growth.

Titan has over 2,000 digital screens across its transit authority and airport assets, including 115 Digital Urban Panels currently being installed above Chicago Transit Authority subway entrances within the city’s central loop.
