JCDecaux Gets HOU Airport Ad Deal

IAHPARIS – JCDecaux SA won a seven-year concession to provide advertising services at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, the OOH company announced today.

The new advertising program – with a three-year-extension option – will bring a new generation of digital advertising displays to the airport, including a network of 70″ digital screens, high-definition LED video walls and interactive directories in the baggage-claim and concourse areas.

With approximately 40 million passengers last year, including 9 million international passengers, HOU is the 10th busiest U.S. airport, serving the nation’s tenth largest DMA and one of the five fastest growing economies in the country.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Clear Channel Airports recently launched a new indoor digital media network for Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and signed on a number of major brands to use its state-of-the-art network to better engage with travelers passing through the city.

Featuring 35 advanced digital components, the network features eco-friendly digital technology, including two 15’ video walls; eight vertical column displays that allow for synchronized digital content to accompany passengers along the highest traffic corridor in the airport; and 25 displays with 70” screens running throughout the concourses and bag-claim areas.

JCDecaux Strikes Deal Inside LAX

PARIS  —  JCDecaux SA flew coast-to-coast this week by gaining another major U.S. airport advertising contract … this time at Los Angeles International Airport.

Time Tower LAXThe company received a seven-year concession (with three-year extension option) for Terminal Media Operator services at LAX. JCDecaux announced a similar deal at Boston’s Logan International Airport earlier in the week.

The interior advertising and sponsorships contract at LAX includes the new Bradley West International Terminal, including new digital features such as the 72′-tall, four-sided Time Tower and the 3,000 ft² Welcome to Los Angeles video wall.
