Clear Channel’s Live New Year’s Via OOH

NEW YORK – Clear Channel Outdoor (CCO) plans to offer New Year’s Eve celebrations on North American billboards – live – from around the world.

Starting at approximately 6 a.m. EST on Dec. 31, , CCO will begin displaying Associated Press images of international New Year’s Eve celebrations across its inventory of more than 1,000 digital billboards in 37 major U.S. markets and select locations in Canada.

The campaign, starting with scenes from New Zealand, Australia, Japan and China, will conclude when Alaska, American Samoa, and the U.S. Islands of Baker Island and Howland Island are the final countries to enter into the New Year by 7 a.m. EST on Jan. 1.

PURCHASE, N.Y. – MasterCard’s #PricelessNewYear campaign will mix traditional media spots with a global social activation in 175 countries, and showcase them on New Year’s Eve via the world famous digital billboards that make up Times Square.
