Daktronics’ “Great Light Way” to Super Bowl

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – As football fans gather here for Super Bowl XLVIII this weekend, they’ll be seeing plenty of LED displays for information and out-of-home … and there’s a bit of South Dakota in plenty of them.

This includes four main video displays in each corner of the stadium, each measuring 30’ high by 118’ wide with 12HD pixel layouts.

MRI, LG Electronics in Joint Venture

ATLANTA — Manufacturing Resources International (MRI) and LG Electronics (LGE) recently formed a new independent company — LG-MRI — as part of a joint-venture agreement.

lg-mri-logo3DBy combining the technical advances and patented innovations of MRI’s BoldVu® Outdoor LCD Display products with LG’s global sales and service offices, the new company will now be able to offer and support technology on a wider basis, and within new markets and venues that have previously not been fully addressed by either company.

In addition, the new company will be able to share R&D efforts and co-develop new digital products, systems and services that will be cost-effectively produced either at MRI’s 137,000 ft² manufacturing facility in Atlanta, or or at one of LGE’s global manufacturing facilities...
